Dr. Viral Dave is the I/c Principal of KES’ Shri Jayantilal H Patel Law College. She has extensive experience of more than 10 years as an academician. Academically she has completed her PhD in Law. She has also qualified State Eligibility Test, Maharashtra for Asst. Professor. She holds double masters degree that is LLM in Human Rights and LLM in Business Law. She has been actively involved in institution building (Syllabus Designing, Academic Administration, Academic Head, Coordinator of Conferences and many more). She has been teaching varied subjects like Constitutional Law, Transfer of Property Act, Jurisprudence & Alternate Dispute Resolution. She has published papers in International Journals and Conference Proceedings. Her educational leadership promotes the success of all students while facilitating the development, implementation and stewardship of a vision for learning.

Ms. Nikhita Sujata Vinayak Patil is an Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Social Science. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Mumbai and Master’s Degree from SNDT University. She cleared UGC NET in Sociology in the year 2015. She teaches Sociology & History and has been a visiting faculty at KES Shroff College of Arts and Commerce. Before joining KES Institution, she had teaching experience of one and a half years at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. She has also worked as a website designer and has developed several E-learning courses for Banking, Financial services and Insurance sectors. Her areas of interest include Women’s liberation and culture- specific heinous honour killings and Indigenous cultures and their status in contemporary society. Ms. Patil has also participated in several national and international conferences, seminars and has published papers to her credit.

Ms Pooja Maniar is Head of Department (Law) Course Co-ordinator for Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights. Her teaching subjects such as Labour Law, Family Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, etc. She graduated with BA (Economics) from the University of Mumbai and completed her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws (Business Law) from S.N.D.T University. She is currently pursuing PhD from Sandip University, Nashik. Her areas of interest are Industrial Relations, Labour Law, I&B, Family Law, Business Law, and Corporate law. She has participated in and presented various papers at national and international conferences and published a research paper on Assisted Reproductive Technologies, and Atrocities on LGBTQ in various journals. Before teaching, she has 9 years of corporate experience.

Ms Pinny Pathak is an Assistant Professor, teaching subjects of Public International Law and Human Rights, Contract -I, Law and Medicine, Civil Procedure Code, Drafting Pleading and Conveyance, Administrative Law and Hindu Law. Additionally she is Course Co-ordinator for LLM and Managerial Representative for ISO. She has completed her graduation- B.A. (Political Science) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, LLB from G. J. Advani Law College, Mumbai and Masters in Law- (LL.M. in Human Rights) from S.N.D.T. University. She was a meritorious student securing 2nd Position in LL.M. (Human Rights) consecutively for the Academic Year 2016-2017 and 2017- 2018. She qualified for MH-SET in the year 2020. She has a noteworthy experience of 5 years in the field of Litigation. She was a legal researcher and writer for the website -Intolegalworld.com writing articles on various socio-legal issues. She has been a Visiting Lecturer at S.N.D.T. Law College, G. J. Advani Law College, Jitendra Chauhan College of Law (JCCL), and K. G. Shah Law College for the past 3 years. She has volunteered with NGOs’ namely Akanksha Foundation and Komal Sapne, Mumbai. Her research areas include International Law and Human Rights.

Ms Anushree Bhatt, a Commerce graduate and a Gold Medallist in LL.B. (Legum Baccalaureus) and LL.M. (Latin Legum Magister) in Criminal Law and Administration from the University of Mumbai. She has manifold exposure to varied research problems and started teaching in law colleges in the year 2022. Her predominant interest in research lies in the area of Criminal law, Family law, and Constitutional law and her areas of expertise include legal and professional exposure. he is a Course Co-ordinator for Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law. She has to her credit a list of research papers, chapters and articles in the best international journals. As a faculty, she teaches a wide spectrum of subjects such as Land Law, Legal Language, Constitutional law, Family law, and Administrative law and in addition, she teaches Constitutional law in LL.M. In her area of practice in legal and professional enthusiasm she also trains students in a practical approach by teaching subjects Practical training and Drafting, Pleading and Conveyance II. She is an Assistant IQAC Co-ordinator for NAAC.

Dr Berlina Lopes is an academician, she has completed her MA in English Literature, and Bachelor of Education in English & History and submitted her PhD thesis in the area of Communication Competence and English Language Proficiency. She is a Course Co- ordinator for Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation. As an academician, she has taught subjects including Business and Professional Communication to Engineering, Pharmacy and Undergraduate Commerce students, Grammar and Art of Writing, Gender and Feminism and varied literature subjects to undergraduate Literature students. She began her teaching career with KES’ Law College in 2015. She has presented and published in national and international conferences, seminars and journals. Her area of expertise lies in Gender studies, mythology and Language proficiency of college students.

Ms Eveta Fernandes is an academician with an overall experience of more than 4 years. Her specialization is in teaching Logic (A branch of Philosophy). She has previously taught Logic at a Junior college of Arts, Philosophy at a Degree College of Arts, Foundation Course at a Degree College of Science, and Logic, English, History and Sociology at a Law College as both visiting and full-time faculty. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Philosophy from the University of Mumbai. She enjoys research work and has published her papers and participated in webinars, seminars and conferences.

Dr. Shivani Negi is an Assistant Professor. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Gurunanak Dev University (Amritsar) and Bachelor’s Degree in Law from law college Dehradun (Utaranchal University). She began her teaching career in July 2017 and taught a range of law subjects such as Law of Contract, Hindu Law, Law of crimes, Transfer of Property Act, Evidence, etc. and other subjects in P.G. courses like Masters in Criminal law. She holds a teaching experience of 5 years in all. Dr. Shivani Negi has also participated in international conferences and has published papers having scopus index to her credit.

Ms.Tanya Sharma is an accomplished academician with a distinguished educational background and a strong passion for legal studies. She graduated with a BBA-LLB (Hons.) degree from the University of Mumbai in 2020, earning top honors by securing the first rank in her class. To further deepen her expertise, she completed her LL.M. in Business Law in 2023. She has also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law, demonstrating her keen interest in specialized areas of law. She successfully completed her Master’s in Management Studies (Human Resources) in 2025 from ARMIET, University of Mumbai, graduating with distinction and securing the First Rank in her college while simultaneously advancing her research journey as a Ph.D. scholar at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Panvel Navi Mumbai. Her academic journey is a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and excellence across disciplines. In 2025, she successfully cleared the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET), further establishing her academic credentials and eligibility for teaching at the university level.
In her role as an Assistant Professor for the past 4 years, she has shared her extensive knowledge with students, teaching a diverse range of legal subjects including Company Law, Contract Law, Labour Laws, Law of Torts, and Intellectual Property Rights. Her interdisciplinary expertise, combining law, management, and research, enhances her ability to guide students with both academic and practical insights.

Ms. Maitreyee Raut is an Asst. Professor. She completed her BLS LL.B. from KES Shri Jayantilal H. Patel Law College in 2021 with First Rank. She has studied P.G. Diploma in Cyber Law and Information Technology and an LL.M. in Criminal Law and Criminal Administration from KES Law College. She has worked in a Non-Litigation Firm and completed Para-legal Volunteer Training. She has written articles and presented a Research Paper at the National Conference in College. She has begun teaching law subjects at KES’ Shri. J P Law College.

Dr. Purba Ganguly is a motivating, dedicated, energetic and professionally driven to inspire students to pursue academic and personal excellence with over 13 years of exposure in teaching Labour Laws, Family Law- I, Family Law –II, Criminal Procedure Code etc. law subjects as well as Practical Training subjects also.
She qualified SET Examination for Assistant Professor held on 29 May 2016 and completed Ph.D. in Law in February, 2023 from Sandip University, Nasik on the thesis entitled “Prevention and Control of Child Sexual Abuse through Legislative Mechanism and Community Efforts- A Critical Analysis”.
Dr. Purba Ganguly worked as a member of the Syllabus Revision Committee for the Family Law – I subject. Recently, she published chapter titled “Gender Sentization: Need of the Hour” in the book titled ‘Confluence-Gender Dynamics In Development’ by Bharti Publications, First Edition 2023 ISBN: 978-81-19079-73-5. Dr. Purba Ganguly also participated and presented paper with ISSN 2582-7359 with Impact Factor 6.325, Peer -Reviewed Journal in the National Conference sponsored by ICSSR – Western Regional Centre on Reimaging and Resilience: A Transcend Societal Barriers for Envisioning Gender Equality in Global Era on 11th ,2023 on the topic” Globalization and Human rights”

Priyanka Khakhadia is an Assistant Professor. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (University of Mumbai), Bachelor’s Degree in Law from (University of Mumbai), and Master’s Degree in Business Law from University of Mumbai. She began her teaching career in 2023 and taught a range of subjects such as Law of Contract, Specific Relief Act, Criminology, Public International Law, Law of Insurance. She has 6 years’ experience in Litigation.

Mr. Mohammed Salim Shaikh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our college as the Sports Director. With a Masters Bachelor and degree in Physical Education and a Bachelor’s in Arts, from University of Mumbai he seamlessly combines his passion for sports with a solid educational background.

Apart from his academic achievements, Mr.Shaikh holds a NSNIS Certification, PG DIPLOMA in Fitness and Nutrition showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of sports and Fitness.
Teaching Philosophy:
Mr. Shaikh believes in fostering a love for physical activity and sportsmanship among students. His Session emphasize not only the physical aspects of fitness but also the values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
Outside the Classroom:
Beyond teaching, Mr. Shaikh is actively involved in organizing sports events, encouraging students to participate in intercollegiate competitions, and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle within the college community.

Deepanshi Dahiya Chandarana holds a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Hansraj college, Delhi University and pursued her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. She completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from Amity Law School Noida and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Law and Diplomacy from Indian society of International law, New Delhi . She has Completed a certificate course in ‘The Psychology of Criminal Justice’ from University of Queen’s Land, Australia. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Law. She has gained experience in both litigation and corporate legal practice for a year and has also been engaged in teaching for over a year. Her areas of academic interest include International Law, Business Law, Corporate Law, and constitutional law.She is keenly involved in research and aims to contribute meaningfully to legal academia. She has presented and published in national and international conferences, seminars and journals.

Dr. Smriti Singh is an Assistant Professor in Political Science. She completed her B.A. and M.A. (Honours) in Political Science from the University of Mumbai, followed by a B.Ed. degree. She has also cleared the CTET, MH-SET (Political Science), and UGC-NET (Political Science) examinations. She earned her Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Mumbai, with her research focusing on the Indian diaspora, and was awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship for her work. Since 2016, Dr. Singh has gained extensive teaching experience, particularly in Political Science for law students, beginning with KES’ Law College. She has
also taught political science in various other reputed institute as well. She has presented research papers at various national and international conferences and has several academic publications to her credit.

Ms. Rajeshree Deda is an Assistant Professor. She is High Court Advocate, having practice in litigation for about past 4 yrs in city of Mumbai and Thane. She was a visiting faculty at KES JP College of Law, Kandivali since 2024. She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (University of Mumbai), LLB from Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, University of Mumbai and LL.M in (Criminal Law and Administration) from the University of Mumbai. She has wide experience of litigation and has appeared before Bombay High Court, Mumbai City Civil Court, Sessions Court, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Small Causes Court, Family Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal, Consumer Court, Labour and Industrial Court. She has specialized in dealing with Family Law and Civil Cases. She is keenly involved in teaching and aims to contribute meaningfully to legal academia and brings practical insight to his academic roles.

Mahavir Mandot is a legal academic and practitioner with experience in teaching, litigation, and corporate legal compliance. He holds an LLM in Business Law (First Rank) from Pravin Gandhi Law College, a PG Diploma in IPR from Government Law College, an LLB, and a BMS in Finance from Bhavan’s College. He has taught subjects like CPC, Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, IBC, Cyber Laws, and Media Law, and has served as a paper moderator at various colleges. With litigation experience across the High Court, City Civil, Magistrate, and Consumer Courts, he brings practical insight to his academic roles. He is a Reviewer at IJIRT, a Manupatra Verified Researcher, and has published two research papers in reputed journals. He has also delivered guest lectures and organized multiple educational field visits for law students.

Ms. Manjusha Bhenwal is an Assistant Professor of Law. She holds an LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Mumbai and a B.L.S., LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai. She has also qualified the UGC-NET in Law. With over three years of teaching experience, she has taught courses such as Company Law, Labour Law, Family Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Drafting & Pleading, and postgraduate subjects including Contract and Allied Laws, Insurance Law, and Trademarks. Before entering academia, she gained professional experience in civil litigation, arbitration,
investor grievance redressal, and legal database management. Her research interests include Constitutionalism and Governance, Family Law and Gender Justice, Labour and Employment Law, Environmental Law and Biodiversity Conservation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Law & Technology. She continues to contribute actively through her teaching, research, and academic engagement.

Jyoti Bamane is Asst. Professor. She has extensive experience of 12 years as an academician and varied experience of Corporate. Academically she has completed her LLM in Business Law. She is indulged in teaching law and has been actively involved in WDC and Cultural activities. She has been teaching varied subjects like Labour Code 2020, , Transfer of Property Act, Banking Laws, Environmental Laws etc. She has published papers in various Journals and Conference Proceedings. Her educational knowledge, Corporate and practical experience assist the students in facing challenges in the practical world.
