LL.B (3 Years Law Course)

1. About the LL.B. Program

The LL.B. (Bachelor of Legislative Law) program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful legal career. 

Through a combination of theoretical and practical coursework, students gain a thorough understanding of the Indian legal system, legal principles, and research methodologies.  

Graduates of the program are eligible to take the All-India Bar Examination, which is required for practicing law in India.

2. Who Can Apply

The LL.B. program is open to candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

3. Eligibility

  • Minimum Marks:
    • General Category: 45% aggregate marks in qualifying exam (Bachelor’s degree)
    • SC/ST Category: 40% aggregate marks in qualifying exam (Bachelor’s degree)
  • Minority Candidates: Students seeking admission under the Gujarati Linguistic Minority category must have passed the Centralized Entrance Test (CET) along with graduation.

Important Note: These are the minimum eligibility requirements. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission.  The college may have additional selection criteria.

4. Admission Process

The admission process for the LL.B. program is conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).  Please refer to the CAP website for detailed information and application procedures.

General Admission Requirements:

  • Online application form submitted through CAP
  • Original statement of marks (Graduation & Post Graduation if applicable) with certified copies
  • Mark sheets and certificates from SSC & HSC (with conversion certificate if applicable)
  • CET Score Card and CET Hall Ticket (if applicable)
  • Passing certificate and document indicating place of birth (e.g., school leaving certificate)
  • Nationality documents (as applicable)
  • Two passport-sized photographs

Additional documents may be required for specific categories (e.g., transfer certificate, migration certificate, disability certificate).

There are a total of 240 seats available for the LL.B. program.
