B.A.LL.B. (5 years Law Course)

1. About the BA LL.B. (Integrated) Program

The BA LL.B. (integrated) program combines a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a Bachelor of Legislative Law (LL.B.) degree. This program allows students to earn both degrees in five years, providing a well-rounded foundation in both liberal arts and legal studies. 

Students will gain a strong understanding of the Indian legal system, legal principles, and research methodologies, while also developing critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. 

Graduates of the program are eligible to take the All-India Bar Examination, which is required for practicing law in India.

2. Who Can Apply

The BA LL.B. program is open to candidates who have successfully completed their Higher Secondary School (+2) or equivalent examination (such as 11+1, ‘A’ Levels) from a recognized board.

3. Eligibility

Minimum Marks:

  • General Category: 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary School or equivalent)
  • SC/ST Category: 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary School or equivalent)

Important Note: These are the minimum eligibility requirements. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission. The college may have additional selection criteria.

4. Admission Process

The admission process for the BA LL.B. program is conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Please refer to the CAP website for detailed information and application procedures.

General Admission Requirements:

  • Online application form submitted through CAP
  • Original mark sheets and certificates from SSC & HSC (with conversion certificate if applicable)
  • Entrance Exam Scorecard and Hall Ticket (if applicable – check CAP website for details)
  • Passing certificate and document indicating place of birth (e.g., school leaving certificate)
  • Nationality documents (as applicable)
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs

Additional documents may be required for specific categories (e.g., caste certificate, transfer certificate, migration certificate, disability certificate).
